A Star's Deathwish : What do I want with my life?

What do I want with my life? I have observed that my writing style reflects my love for science and maybe, science is the best way for me to answer this question. What if I compare my situation with a star's life cycle (not the celebrity kind of star but a real star)?

So, let's start with some necessary comparisons and definitions. I think all matter in this made-up universe represents knowledge in the form of mass. Stars are born out of the collapse of cool, dense molecular clouds, and a star represents my identity in this universe. The cool and dense molecular clouds are people who surround me and help me gain matter (knowledge) so that I can grow up to become a bright star. The matter in that cloud collapses into smaller and smaller regions contracting to form stellar cores, gradually creating my identity.

I am currently in this stage of forming a protostar, where I can collect accessible knowledge around me so that I can fuse it with my thoughts in the future to contribute the energy produced in this reaction to the increasing entropy of the universe. A star which will be in Hydrostatic equilibrium, which is a balance between the gravitational collapse due to the mass and pressure due to energy generation in the core of the star. This energy represents the responsibilities that I have and it pressures me to work hard. I am currently trying to gather matter around me to become a big star. A star big enough so that I can be one of the brightest stars in the universe. A star big enough so that the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram allows me to achieve my ambitions in my main sequence. What are my aspirations?

Success is not a point in the spacetime continuum (success is not a destination), but it's a state of mind. To achieve that state of mind, I feel that I should gather enough knowledge so that I can leave my legacy in the form of a black hole or at least a neutron star when I die. But why? I want my death to lead to a Supernova explosion of knowledge to inspire a multitude of people and contribute to the formation of other objects. Black holes are one of the most magnificent, mysterious, and densest objects in the universe. I feel that I want my legacy to be dense enough (matter represents knowledge, so my legacy will be one of the densest objects in the universe) that it's difficult for everyone to understand but nonetheless instigates people to be interested. I want it to be special so that people will try to sneak up to the Innermost Stable Circular Orbit. This makes them close enough to study the event horizon. Event Horizon represents my work, my legacy, which has a gravitational pull so strong that it won't even let photons escape (here, I mean, I want my work to attract my haters too).

I am aware that my legacy will die eventually because the physics of this universe will gradually evaporate the black hole due to Hawking radiation. Still, I am glad that I can fantasize about my legacy using astronomy and grateful that I am learning something new every day.

Writer's note:

In this article, I was not trying to brag about whatever I will achieve in my life, but this is what I want with my life, and I felt that the analogy with stars and black holes blended well with my vision. I hope this was worth your time.

Also, Check out the theme of this article composed by @spabproject named Cluster. I like listening to music while reading, so this was a big deal for me to have a theme designed for my first write-up. I hope you enjoyed everything about this.
